Hello! My name is Amy Stadelmeyer and I am the owner of The Squirrel's Den.

In 2018 I gave up my job to take care of my father who had terminal cancer. I was blessed to be able to take care of him full-time and spend many valuable days with him until his passing in 2019, at the young age of 64. During his sickness I started to think about my next career path. Previously, I was a Business Operations Manager in the healthcare industry for many years, and was not interested in continuing in that field. I wanted to find a career that would allow me to spend more time with my family, specifically my young son (and only child), who is growing up way too fast! This led me on a journey to find a way to do that and still find a flexible career for myself. After looking and not finding something that I felt passionate about, I ended up finding this path by accident. My husband and I purchased a 13 acre tract of land for our future home. During that journey, I found myself searching auctions for a tractor and other items to maintain our property. It was during this process that I realized, I was hooked to the auction world! So in 2019, The Squirrel's Den, LLC was born. 

I currently work with some auction houses and buy "lots" from them that contain miscellaneous items. Some are buybacks, overstocks or closeouts from major retailers and some are items from estate sales. Utilizing these avenues allows me to offer a huge array of items in all different categories.

I purchase items that are interesting to me or I feel is a great buy to pass along to others.
